Netanyahu, Trump, Putin: three of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, malignant agents of chaos and pain they believe will never touch them. History says they’re wrong - yet how much destruction will they bring before they fall?

As an Orthodox Jew I find this horrifying. Brought up in the bomb sites of East London after WW2 where my family mourned family members who died in the Concentration camps. It is a bit like having the end of WW2 discussions while ignoring the U.K. but including Germany. Palestinians have their own leaders, it is just the US bans them from entering and most other countries join in and pretend Hamas speaks for them, when they don’t care if the Palestinians live or die.

That is so very sad. We’re looking at deal makers not peace makers. I feel for those caught in the middle.

Pretty much like Afghanistan—ex parte “negotiation.” So let’s review the bidding. Since Israel’s statehood in 1947 and through the six day war and the Yom Kippur war, we have had Israel’s back. It was morally right. Israel’s response to Oct. 7th, morally right. But somewhere on the way to today legitimacy has evolved to something very ugly. And we now have this diplomatic charade. This is not the Carter moment achieving some peace and regional normalization. It is brutally unilateral, and I suspect will only enflame regional tensions. It also does not address the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.

I have come to the conclusion after reading the history of how Israel was founded that it was not morally right to take the lands, farms and homes of the Palestinians in order to create the new country. In fact, it is the reason that there has never been peace in that area. It's akin to our treatment of Native Americans.

Excellent critique of what was, and wasn’t addressed.

This pisses me off so much. Trump does this time and again: he does not invite the victims. He didn’t include the Afghans, he didn’t include the Ukraines, and now he has not included the Palestinians. What the fuck?

Speaking of Epstein distraction, Little Mikey wants to delay swearing in the new Democratic Representative from Arizona, Adelita Grijalva. Why the delay? Because hers would be the vote that will tip the scales to release the Epstein files.

This whole war has been basically a replay of the Old Testament. Netanyahu legitimizes his genocide with biblical passages, which if you actually read the whole book, is accurate. Yahweh was an ancient storm and war god and the apples don't fall far from that tree.

If this doesn’t seal the Nobel Peace Prize, what will? Nuking Russia?
