Excuse my ignorance but is it not a criminal offense to defy a subpoena, to refuse to testify under oath? If so, here's the problem with political appointees at high level in government. Who's going to charge the AG or arrest her? Nobody. She is, it appears, above the law despite testifying a while ago that nobody is above the law.
Can’t Bondi be compelled testify? Her attitude is, try & make me. So now is our chance. There is no need for the 5th. If she does go for the fifth, then she’s admitting to unspecified guilt. She must be fired & replaced with someone experienced and trust worthy to both sides in order to go thru all the files. Make it a committee of three, including on of the victims. The expert preps the files to be released, suitable redactions, then the three in charge release all files.
Despite those with earnest intentions (among both Democrats and Republicans) I have no confidence anything will come of this. The Trump regime's stranglehold on America may now be too great to overcome.
