By the way, assume that the UFC match goes ahead: who is geting the $1M or $1.5M entry fee? will those funds pay for the construction and, one hopes, the demolition of the whole set-up so the lawn and gardens can be restored? (Too bad about those old trees....)

And if the match does not go ahead because the courts stop it ... then who pays for the restoration of the terrain?

Kash Patel announced the new 10 Most Wanted Fraudsters program at the FBI. I wonder who the American people would put on that list???

Thank you, Mary. Loved, "Trump is selling a manufacturing renaissance while the manufacturing numbers wander off-script," much like trump always wanders off script. And speaking of Einstein, if trump has been exonerated, why not release the files?

Don’t the numbers of hospitality jobs always increase in summer to support tourist and vacation areas? Especially in years with events like the World Cup happening? How convenient for the timing of the latest jobs report.

Kathryn, yes the are more hospitality jobs when people travel. But the numbers of tourists from other countries has fallen with good reason. I am not sure what the impact of the World Cup will be. I keep reading that hotels are not doing as well as they thought and I assume that also applies to other things that tourists where tourists spend money.

I agree that WC visitors will probably be greatly reduced. I don’t blame people for not wanting to come here. But some hiring might have been done in hopes that there woul be at least a small increase in numbers. I live near two tourist areas that are usually very busy in summer and know they start hiring in early spring and finish staffing out in early May.

My original comment was laced with some sarcasm in my head but obviously that didn’t translate to text.
