I stopped reading to scroll to bottom. I'll read later today after I get a good walk with the dog. I knew many of the details, but put together it's more gruesome.

so very true. Thanks for the accurate (and depressing) summary of where we've been and where we are.

I have always felt safe knowing that there is, for everyone and everything, a rule of law, i no longer feel that way, the other unwritten law that I and my generation was raised knowing was the clear difference between right and wrong and the wonderful idea that we all knew the difference and could rely on others knowing the difference as well. Evidently that is gone as well, sad, sad, sad.

Overwhelming and so clearly defined. What is being role-modeled for younger generations is leading to a firmly established culture not only ignoring the law but celebrating explicit disrespect for anything other than money and power.

In religion, myth and stories throughout history, the sadistic mindset and actions of character like Trump would exemplify evil. He panders to those who share his disdain for boundaries and glory in the suffering of others. We must continue to stand up to all of them.

Such an amazing piece that chronicles Trump’s outrageous history of pardons in order to shine a spotlight on what it represents and the destructive power it poses over time 🙏🙏🙏

Thank you for all the work you’re doing. So he’s at 2,000 pardons and not even a year in yet. Goal is what 2,500 or 3,000 for the year. The criminals who are now out and about aren’t paying the victims from which they stole from. Seems a pattern with the Epstein victims. Doesn’t even know some that he’s even pardoning. Uses the excuse somebody told me they were prosecuted by Biden “like me” as if he’s ever been a victim. Old enough to recall a time of morals, ethics and values a right and a wrong that we should not become numb or oblivious to. We don’t hear much about the Oath Keepers and Proud boys much, they must be employed by DHS and got that signing bonus. Maybe Noem can turn over all those employment records for all those ICE agents to the House Committee. May see some pardoned employees on the federal payroll. That’s worth a daily phone call to DC. Thanks again.

with luck, mother nature will take care of trump with help from McDonalds, and Vance will have enough folks he considers to have disrespected him that he refuses to pardon them and the NEXT DOJ can crack that whip....

This piece is a clarion call to organize and get out a huge wave of voters in every election coming up. The rot is so deep the only way forward is through free and fair elections. This will not be easy. Intimidation and treachery must be expected as we try to vote. I believe our bonds as fellow human beings have not sagged so low; we will remember who we really are. Tighten up and be connected with your neighbors. Hope forges our purpose. I believe this with all my heart.
