Together with shooting her 14 month old dog for natural behavior; defining the lawful exercise of First Amendment rights as terrorism; and unflinching defense of lawless ICE brutality, Noem’s endorsement of $220 million taxpayer dollars for ads that showcase her renovated face in different outfits and hats certainly reinforces the perception she is a vain sociopath and disgrace to our country.
You got through the entire essay without mentioning Corey and Kristi are sleeping together too. Whether he has an official title, or receiving a paycheck, or is married with children, as is Noem, he is the secretary's boy toy.
I remain fascinated by Noem's husband sitting next to her as she lies about Lewandowski. Do you suppose he is afraid she will shoot him as "improperly trained" if he makes any comment?
all this does serve to remind us that there are good reasons, historical reasons, for making people deciding how public money is being spent either disclose outside financial interests or refrain from having them (and resigning from them if they are coming into a position of public trust). In the bad old days, there was a lot of corruption, making sweetheart deals for a split of the proceeds. Then the rules changed and norms evolved so that kind of thing would be much less likely to happen. (Hard to say it never happened, but not so much, and it was generally acknowledged to be bad.)

Would think someone would do something about lying but instead of just having discussions in front of a committee. Good grief what a waste of time and money. You’d think sooner or later that those breaking the law and not following the CONSTITUTION, would be held accountable. Yet we what have to wait for the Dem’s to take control again to fix it.
