I know if I were a Greenlander I would be looking at the two countries: Denmark: old, settled, democratic, sane and the U.S.: no longer young, brash, bloated and lets face it, our world face is UGLY. Our streets are filled with gun violence, our kids are losing, our twenty-somethings are Nazi-curious and our government looks like a big fat smelly orange turd. I'm going with the Danes. (I used to love America but I cannot right now. It is gross to me, when 70m+ people voted for an obvious felon, rapist, failed businessman, racist piggy, bloated grotesque decrepit lying old man and continue to support him beyond reason. )

We, as ordinary citizens, can and must act to stop Trump by drastically reducing all discretionary spending. If we all acted together, the drop in consumer spending would push the economy into a recession and further erode Trump’s declining power. The effects of homegrown economic sanctions would be rapid, possibly enough to deter further imperialistic adventures.
Everyone should read Andra Watkins’ Substack, For Such a Time as This — especially today’s post, which indicates the invasion of Venezuela has been part of the Project 2025 plan from the beginning … to be followed by other countries.
I often wonder. After listening to Ruth BenGhait and Mike Fanone yesterday, I recommend his testimony. How many understand how deep this apparent ride goes? Mike talked yesterday some don’t have any idea what happened,and the level ..death threats from the truths.
Very powerful call to action for all of us to heed. Women's March is having a 'Free America Walkout' this January 20th, Tues. starting at 2 p.m. all over the nation, check it out...I, in solidarity with that action, am organizing a rally/protest in my small town for January 17th, a Saturday. This has been a year of destruction and misery by a mentally and physically sick man who has a fascist regime fully aware of his decline and is therefore accelerating the goals put forth by Project 2025 as noted by Lisa Appleton. The panic is real and more dangerous than ever! Also, I think it is important to not lose sight of continuing to push for the RELEASE OF THE EPSTEIN FILES AND MORE DROPS FROM EPSTEIN ESTATE TRANCHE by the Oversite Committee. Too many powerful people all over the world in all kinds of institutions are being protected for extreme crimes against children. We must win justice for the survivors and for those who, unfortunately, did not survive.
We have to grow in numbers , protest, be genuinely consistent with reality and change - Lori’s point is point on. Let’s get’er done and keep it the new focus. Strengthen communities and get involved, it IS already happening. The rural scene may be poor, but they’re resilient and handy entrepreneurs .
In the eyes and heart of a presumably just God, are the lives of the 80 or so Venezuelans lost in the recent American raid any more or less of merit than that of Donald J. Trump?
A call to action and one not just every 6 months on a Saturday, but every day either by telephone , email, or directly in the office of the elected leader , both state and federal. My congressman says some of the words and dutifully sends his monthly letter of supposed activities, but then takes money from AIPAC, Big Pharmaceutical companies, etc. I feel I am turning into a pollyanna and asking for all the rights and needs of the people to be addressed now, not just nodding in agreement, but actually doing something about it. I want my elected officials to get angry about the action's of trump and his administration, take to the streets, TV cameras, radio's. etc. and tell it like it is and continue until they are driven from office. No more nice words of indignation, but rather lawful., peaceful action. Between us, we can and should do all the above.
