If I'm not mistaken, didn't Iran offer to hand over its enriched uranium at the pre-war talks with Kushner and Wickoff right before we started bombing?

but it wasn't real estate so those two real estate developers did not recognize it.

Thank you, Mary. I don't trust trump to manage his way out of anything, even a paper bag. Like Ty Cobb said, he is clearly insane. When will someone, anyone act on that?

How much is Netanyahu paying Trump? We know he can be bought by the highest bidder (cf. Elon Musk) but surely the Saudis &c. have more money (cf. Qatar) than Bibi and the Israelis to bribe Trump.

As for Don-boy, I don't think he's newly deranged: I think he always was. I suspect he ran his businesses (into the ground, for the most part) like a mad dictator.

The difference now is 1) he can share his thoughts (Gawdlmighty!) at will; 2) he has the absolute monarchy of the presidency; and 3) he has access to more money than Scrooge McDuck.

He hasn't just found lunacy. He's stopped hiding it from the world.

And still the MAGAts cheer, defend, and worship.

Thomas More said it of Henry VIII, but it's just as true here - that advisors should only tell Henry VIII what he "ought" to do, rather than what he "can" do, saying, “If a lion knew his own strength, hard were it for any man to rule him."

"Benjamin Netanyahu continues doing what Benjamin Netanyahu does: making sure every off-ramp has a spike strip across it."

Trump and Netanyahu are locked together in a co-dependent war for their own political survival. It's actually more like a suicide pact...

I doubt they will experience harm commensurate with the suffering of those impacted by their megalomaniacal narcissism - which includes us and most of the world.

Netanyahu will undoubtedly be making his way to another country and looking for a handout for his war as he senses that trump is absolutely void of a thought involving anything other than his ballroom or the painting of the reflective "swimming pool"! "Thank you for your attention to this matter" are words that really frost my knickers too!

Sent this day to:

Vice President Vance, Acting Secretary Blanche, Secretary Hegseth, Secretary Rubio, Speaker Mike Johnson, Senator John Thune, Senator Alex Padilla, Senator Adam Schiff, Leader Hakeem JeffriesCongressman Jared Huffman; CC: Donald J Trump.

Dear - - - -

As far back as November 2024, mental health professionals offered that Donald Trump is in cognitive decline. Recently, those professionals renewed that concern with one, renowned Dr. John Gartner, saying, “The Donald Trump you see today is the best you will ever see him. It will only get worse from here.” (The same was once said about my late father.)

We’ve all seen it. The President’s cognitive circumstance is evident in his inability to maintain attention to matters of state, the anger and bitterness of his rhetoric toward those who question him, the puerile (and certainly unpresidential) late night memes posted to social media and the general incoherence with which he speaks publicly.

It is also becoming quite evident that any fealty to Donald Trump – or to his circle of moneyed confidants – is shortsighted and self-defeating. The more our democratic norms teeter, the less these oligarchs will need from you until they will need nothing. And nothing you will be.

Recalling when Jesus cast the merchants and money changers from the temple, Donald Trump must be relieved from office. The process for both Cabinet Members and Members of Congress is explicitly outlined in the Constitution.

Required is your courage. And that courage is required now because “it will only get worse from here.”

Regards,

Perhaps Europe could help by banding together to school this administration and Israel. Starting with heavy sanctions perhaps. Or at least firm conversation with Trump, Vance and Netanyahu. Time for actual leadership.
