The crooks and cowards were not tossed out by voters coming at it sideways, using tricky methods and soft soap. The voters came right at the problem--identified the villains and rooted them out.
It's a false choice--that you can EITHER fix problems OR bring these greedy thieves to justice.
There is more than enough energy and capacity to solve both problems at once-- to walk and chew gum at the same time... Investigate and punish the Trump mafia family (which includes his sons and most of his cabinet) AND do the People' Work...

wonder how many of his cult followers even listen to him any more.... the "historic" designation for the oval office can be undone by congress... and last time i checked, congress will be overflowing with democratic congresspeople all madder than a bunch of hornets and ready to strike away at any low hanging fruit... as far as Venezuelan oil, we are not making money from that. from what i can tell there is very little coming out of the ground and the actual estimates as to how much is there is about 20% of the reported figure. that is not my number but comes from a post by Mr Global who is an industry expert and i have not found him to be wrong about much. most of the money from Venezuelan oil is being made by the oil companies, not the US, not Trump, and certainly not Venezuela. And of course the cherry on top is your point about how ludicrous it is to justify a bad war and people dying because we are paying for it with stolen oil???? now that he has Himmler cross golem running things, everything gets just a bit more scary... I REALLY REALLY hope the democrats got the message from the mid terms as well... the old approach of democrats does not work... people voted for real change, not just lip service... i see that they all met in Denver to go over the tired list of the usual suspects to run for president. i really hope that we can move aside people like Schumer and some of the other old school and get some fresh air and light and really go after helping the average American. fix the health care system, fix the tax system, and start to rein in all the dark money flowing into politics... look at Michigan... they elected a guy who is disliked by most mainstream democrats who has preached little else other than stop funding genocide, stop corporate and PAC money from flowing into elections, and fix healthcare... i hope someone is listening

First, will the Trump White House comply with subpoenas (who would enforce them) - and if they do, will it be another performative display like Pam Bondi's, or will it be at all responsive? The appointment of Steve Miller as Chief of Staff does not bode well. Then there is the question of money - will Vought comply with any decisions or instructions from the Democratic majority on the Hill? Will he in fact cut off funding to pet MAGA programs or simply redirect and hide allocations?
