Inasmuch as it looks like we are doing Israel's bidding in this conflict and the strategic fog surrounding U.S. involvement - is the military leadership supine? Is Caine just a lapdog who does anything his Fox News boss tells him to do? Does he concur with the fiction that we have a limitless store of advanced weapons? Does military leadership collude with the Christian Nationalist gibberish being promulgated by the rapture crowd?

Macron/France has just openly supported Lebanon, sending aid and operational support. This is absolutely huge, this puts France in direct opposition to the Israeli land-grab currently happening, and is the first time any of the EU states have done anything beyond stating their disapproval or writing firmly worded letters to the editor. Will be interesting to watch that space.
We live in dangerous times. Two superpowers are at war with smaller nations. One of them, us, is entangled in three, four, perhaps five hot conflicts concurrently. Russia is belligerent and its bloody endless war is the war of one man. If China uses this opportunity to attack Taiwan well what the fuck you guys? At what point do we call it WWIII and watch as our children and grandchildren go across the globe to die. One thing, just one thing is all this stupid motherfucking president had to do: negotiate an end to the war in the Ukraine.
