Taking the win…at this point small wins always hope for more

A federal judge on Tuesday ruled that funding for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau cannot lapse, a blow to the Trump administration, which had declared the agency’s cash stream illegal.

Thank you for keeping me informed on what's going on in this chaotic administration. I love all your snarky comments!

A District Court today ordered that funding be restored to CFPB. More costs of further litigation incoming.

Musk served his own agenda, targeting multiple federal agencies that were investigating his businesses and/or his federal contracts. He also had his minions download every federal database they could get their hands on.

Yes indeed the myth that big government does not work is kept alive by some conservatives. Although there is some waste to be sure, it does work fairly efficiently. Just think of the millions of Social Security checks mailed out each month with accuracy and on time. Federal workers do marvelous things for us and go a long way to keep politics away from their work. In summary there is no “deep state”. Every so often however a black hole develops in the White House - only this time it has been disguised underneath gilded schmaltz.

There are human diseases where a parasite eats your brain, or a pathogen destroys certain organs. I believe that RFK Jr has been afflicted with some of these. I wish for Twump and his administration a taste of these maladies, payback for the USAID deaths.

Everybody else, a safe and healthy new year.
