Let’s start with well wishes to Marz the Super Dog.

Unlike the Super Dog, our country has more than sutures to contend. Trump is destroying America. Not figuratively, it is in fact measurable. The politicization of the military is underway. The destruction of law enforcement as an impartial element of justice is underway. Gabbard dismantles our intelligence community dollar by dollar, clearance by clearance. Patel put FBI agents on night patrols in DC—what a waste of talent. The Texas electoral massacre heralds domestic electoral warfare as CA responds in kind. We are printing money to pay off debt, yet adding more with tax breaks. And, what do we get? Grass. No kidding, grass. At least his soliloquy on the merits of lawn care are more substantive than the Republican Congress.

No wonder at the laughing stock players ..the real scenario may be far more devastating and come when de fact-less wanna be fades in a care facility ranting away…because by then it’ll be read and weep.

So glad to hear of Marz …I’m on break, brunch, and browsing my incoming mail disgusted with Ukraine’s continued ‘incoming’ likely just another Russian barrage .so.sad.

Hope your weekends are wonderfully spent ,take a break..WE still have a lot of thankfulness to celebrate..

Thanks for keeping us posted on Marz. I like dogs much more than people these days. Poor guy. That must have been miserable and could have been avoided.

First, aren't vets supposed to count sutures in and sutures out?

Of course DJT has obsession with most water-needy things around..lawns.

I pulled: "Trump has built a private army in ICE and is using the National Guard not for natural disasters but to suppress democracy in American cities. He warned that Los Angeles, where masked Trump troops patrolled Little Tokyo, is just “a preview of things to come.” He also reminded us that Trump has never deployed active-duty military overseas. Instead, he saves them for the real enemy: Americans. And now, while telling Texas lawmakers he’s “entitled” to five congressional seats, Trump is openly rigging the playing field in broad daylight."

A letter from the local water provider mandating Drought Conservation Ordinance as our water source is providing 25% less than previous years leaves me less than impressed with the image of DC or any place as one large golf course. As this country is quickly striding backwards into the past environmentally, civilly and legally, the oligarchs a la Zuckerberg are slurping up their neighborhoods into compounds to insure their security from the rest of us! To Marz cheers for a “good dog”

Re Trump's lawn lecture: the first time he mentioned grass has a lifespan, I just knew he was going to latch on to it. And so he did. o_0

Re Marz: sounds as if he's turned the corner. Extra pampering for tolerating the eye irritation with minimal fuss!

Aww, the sweet boy. They can't tell us, and they don't want to upset us. I'm glad he's gotten relief!

Well either way due respect Mary, the version of the story I read in the NYTimes did make pretty clearly the points you raised.

But I would say, as a long-time editor and reporter for newspapers small and big in Canada, wriggling off a half-billion-dollar fine was a pretty big deal.
