Trump and his regime are guilty of crimes of moral turpitude, acts considered inherently base, vile, or depraved, shocking public conscience, often involving fraud, theft, or violence, like murder, robbery, child abuse, or serious fraud.

Our collective American reputation and identity is being so blemished and stained that we the people, must mount an aggressive, continuous, and strident campaign to assert the madness of one protagonist and his sycophantic extremists do not represent the values and principles of our nation.

The returning 119th Congress faces fateful challenges as the Trump regime continues to melt down into unfettered lawlessness, criminal contempt, naked and unabashed corruption, and delusional derangement.

Any continued GOP loyalty will only appear grotesques and insulting to our enduring American sensibilities. We must demand the re-establishment of moral primacy as a bedrock of our culture and punish moral turpitude as an unacceptable, evil crime against our common good and the values of our civil order.

Denmark, other NATO nations, and the UN ought to start talking about applying pressure to remove U.S. military presence from Greenland altogether. If nothing else it would highlight the seriousness of the current administration's mafia-like skullduggery.

I was doing ok with my anger until I got to Ukrainians playing music and then I teared up.

Something rarely mentioned about Greenland is that Climate Change (aka Crisis) will make it easier for ships to move about and will expose who knows what for those controlling the new topsoil. Another reason trump dreams of owning Canada. Anyone with IQ over 90 in administration knows climate is changing. Some know it involves fossil fuels.

What a cluster.

Three musicians in combat fatigues, a war Ukraine never deserved or wanted, and a people whose resolve strengthens by the minute even after nearly four years of brutal war. It is the world in a microcosm and our individual worlds all at the same time.

Absolutely! Yule time music, friends and family, a president we neither deserved or wanted, and people strengthening our resolve to resist this regime. In my world, we are all speaking out, even the introverts😊 Courage is contagious.

Mary Geddry, this is one of the most meaningful pieces on levels rarely visited. I have read in a long while. You go deep. It’s like a deep purple tapestry where you are a docent pointing out the stitches and flaws and ragged rips in our country. The horror in warehousing of human beings in our name is a clarion wake-up call. Keep the beam of hope shining.

I have no idea why my comment disappears before can finish it: for a front seat view of the monster go to your public library and order up book WHO COULD EVER LOVE YOU' by American PSYCHOLOGIST and author MARY LEA TRUMP, niece of Trump, on its own worth reading but also very good look at the face of the monster, 2 other very revealing books follow. READ THEM ALL.

excellent analysis. I do hope that some of the bumbling over the Epstein Fires is quiet resistance.

The first thing I thought of on seeing drump's Nigeria blast was "just Christians being attacked???" No, not only the Nigerian Government has noticed this. The group in question is an offshoot of Boko Haram, and is an equal opportunity oppressor, war lords terrorizing Christian, Muslim, and any other member of any religious group that happens to live in the area.

Framing does matter And we can bet that Republicans of the "Muslims are a cult" state of mind will ignore this and think trump is the leader of a New Crusade, blessed by a God that has divorced itself from the People of the Book and, of course, from the teachings of Jesus himself.

I loved your last three paragraphs about the Ukranian soldiers playing a carol. Those are the humanity hero’s. Trump and his whole cabinet can’t hold a moonbeam to them.

I was reminded of the WW1 Christmas Truce of 1914 when I read your words about the three musicians. Maybe music will lead us to peace in the end. The people of the world are ready for a peace accord and a Department of Peace in every nation, but I fear the politicians and corporations are never going to allow that to happen unless and until, we, the inhabitants of this great world , made up of many great countries, vow to continue our work toward it. Let the music begin!
