I am utterly disgusted and saturated with Trump and the Federal Government. I cannot stand to see him or hear him and that means tuning out of most news sources except yours. Our whole system of government does not work if a person like Trump can totally demolish it and get away with it. We need to rethink the whole thing.

This lane thing is really a good analogy, in part because (I am speaking as a Canadian Cascadian) the lanes have always been there. That they are being revealed within the US now is both an exploitation, as you have so clearly described, and a light. It's hard, hard, hard, hard, hard, hard, hard to see the most common flaws in one's own society, but most people can see it now. Good might yet come of this. I hope so. I really want to be back in Yakama country again. Lanes are everywhere, but just of thing of Washington roads, if you will. They go from settlement to settlement, without pullouts or shoulders. There's no place to stop and enjoy the view, because the view is only public if you are on the road. Otherwise, it's private. This is not only an issue in Washington, but I know Washington so well, so I mention it. One is only allowed to stop at certain places, which are all developed, and all cost money. And if you're in the wrong lane? Why, you're going the wrong way. A head on collision is next. This is a long-standing problem. Trump is a cancer that has grown from it, but the problem preceded him. Now that it's in the light, good might yet come of this.
