Trump and his operatives lazily dig into “the junk drawer theory of governance” because they apparently believe they have achieved their goals: unchecked power and the financial and institutional means to advance their interests without popular support. They seem to be telling us, as voters, citizens and humans, we have exhausted our use to them.

We can only hope their rancid corruption, lazy lying and incompetence will break the MAGA spell and persuade the growing ranks of independents to reclaim American values of evidence-based pragmatism, hope and commitment to a better, fairer future for all.

A picture is worth a thousand words, or so they say. I can't remember where I have seen it this morning, but there is photo taken of the group that you show with this essay that made me laugh. The cut off person on the extreme right in the red shirt is a girl who is trying to stifle an enormous yawn...

How you produce quality prose on such a schedule impresses me to no end. Thank you for your diligence and care.

First I hope parents of these children debrief them so they don’t fall prey to the MAGA movement and the president. Nothing like indoctrination as soon as possible.

The cult leader and his minions are increasing the rhetoric to those who are vulnerable for votes. I see this as voter fraud. In Salem gas is over $5.00 a gallon at Shell and other major gas stations. $4.95 at discount stations. No traveling this summer. According to Rubio it would be worse if Iran isn’t dealt with. Sounds good to the cult.

I'm going to pray now...Cuz God and Goddess only know how to re-set humanity's evolution onto a new course sans the self-loathing. I read that the Dali Lama gets up at 3:30 am to start his prayer ritual...we'd better set our clocks for 2:30.
