We are so far behind China and the rest of the world in developing renewable energy sources. In fact, on August 6th, Trump actually paid the German company, RWE, $1.22 BILLION to GIVE UP three US offshore wind leases off New York, CA, and Louisiana!! We are paying companies to NOT build renewable energy sources! All because oil and coal companies pay him to keep it that way. He is dooming our country to dependence on fossil fuels for generations…fuel that will become more scarce, more expensive, and trigger more wars.
Great piece, as usual. But, you know, the biggest problem with Trump's claim of $80 billion or $82 billion in profit for Intel is not that the numbers diverge a bit. It is that both numbers are completely baseless and, in fact, completely impossible. None of it can be remotely true. Intel is not that big, profits cannot possibly be that high, and the whole thing is just complete gaslighting BS.
