perfect and touching. While I wouldn't be so bold to say kindness is unique to America--it isn't. But it is an essential and redeeming quality of our country. A door held open. A friendly smile. The courtesy given in a pay forward moment. And our children.

Thank you so much for this posting. Five beautiful stories; six if you count your husband and seven if you count yourself. I am so proud of you and how you see the world. This is the way I want all of us (and our country) to go each day. Without, of course, having to be troubled by insurance companies that are not paying for needed MRI for a baby😞

I love your stories of hope of the daily events that get us through when the wider world is chaos. I enjoyed the story about the pets. Our doggie was in his thunder suit and except for a little shaking did well. In the our neighborhood, five people managed to set off mortars injuring five, four seriously. They also did damage to nearby cars and buildings. I confess that I have come to dislike the Fourth.

Thanks from the heart of one who is deeply touched by this piece. We who are grandparents need this precious deep exposure to those many small and life supporting moments that occur with young children. The magic of it all, along side the constant tendering and effort. Recognizing the life challenges of an ADHD child so that he/she is recognized for their effort and celebrated for accomplishments is so…ooo life giving from the parent of one and the therapist of the grown up ones. Many blessing to you all.
