Ordinarily I would agree with you, but these are not ordinary times. You cannot compromise with a party who will not also make concessions for you. This GOP will lie, betray, and run roughshod over the Democrats, as has been proven over and over again for many years. It's time for a change in attitude and tactics.
It doesn't matter. The system works the way it works. Impeachments will fail and we face the veto. We have to be smart. We have to create some bi-partisanship in the next two years.
Lynch mob?? For god sakes, the Republicans have held how many closed door meetings in which their colleagues on the left were excluded from? Every Republican who hasn’t pushed back on separation of powers, rule of law or the constitutional rights under the constitution should be held accountable!
We are at a crossroads and if our Republic is going to stand we need those in power to prosecute those who acted in bad faith and against their oath to the constitution!
I agree but on day one? FFS, we need to know what the tenor of Congress will be instead of playing their game. We will never succeed in all these impeachments and we face veto in legislation. We'll end up doing nothing but creating martyrs.
