Thank you for your thorough, honest, clear assessments of where in the trump septic tank we are! I can only hope, on our nation’s 250th birthday, we cleanse our country of this pollution and restore our vision as an honest and caring country.

Hope you feel better soon. Thanks for always condensing the continuous horror drivel into something sarcastically succinct. =)

Amusing and terrifying…

The truth isn’t always pretty, but no one captures it better than you and your daughter!

The core problem shines through: Trump is a sick man by every metric and is getting more erratic and dangerous by the day. One might think the sycophants around him would be jumping ship, yet they are as corrupt and incompetent as he is.

Legacy media is still pretending he is mentally fit - he isn’t. Nothing he says or does is rooted in reality or sound judgment.

If there’s a signal in the noise, it is likely found in following the interests of Putin, MBS and Bibi - and how they get what they want by manipulating Trump’s insatiable need for attention, wealth and glory.

my personal belief is that Netanyahu wants to do to Iran what he did to Gaza... trump is along for the ride under the guise of one or more rotating excuses (nuclear development, free the Iranian people, topple a bad regime, don't like the colors in their flag, they refuse to call the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America). Netanyahu has been a bit less subtle... the Israelis have stated that no matter who takes over the government, they will try to kill them. somehow this seems acceptable on the world stage. what it clearly means is that Israel and trump want to reduce Iran to a rudderless bit of geography without a government or military, and of course along with it goes the culture, 1000s of years of arts, science, the identity of a very old people. trump is going along so that he can get at the oil. Netanyahu is doing it so that Israel becomes the defacto unchallenged power in the middle east, able to gradually break down all its neighbors. trump wants the oil as along with Venezuela, that is about 38% of the world's oil supply and he and his flying monkey Hegseth have stated repeatedly that would bring China and others into line. this policy is already playing out by essentially starving Cuba of fuel, shutting down its economy and hurting its people. Iran, Cuba, Venezuela are all supposed to love the US now? ask Denmark and France how much they loved the Nazis during wwII. while Americans are finally beginning to learn that oil is a globally traded commodity and a shortage for one is a shortage for all, trumps buddies in the oil and gas world are making more money and getting what they want which is higher dollars per bbl of oil. and since Qatar has shut down their LNP facilities, the US is the sole big producer and the price of natural gas is climbing quite rapidly... i dont think this war was done on a whim, out of incompetence, etc. like everything else, he tells people what they need to hear to continue to support him. don't let facts get in the way. the only blessing is that it may drive adoption of wind and solar at a faster rate... one of the best kept secrets which i love is how so so so much of the TX power grid comes from wind and solar, while they busily bash sustainable energy, climate change and the like publicly...

Remember in Trump 1.0 when we all said: "Well, I just hope we don't have some kind of disaster..." At least then he had some experienced people surrounding him... for a while anyway.

Now here we are with both feet stuck in Trump 2.0 and--not only do we have A disaster -- we have multiple disasters, all self-inflicted. And those competent people from Trump 1.0 are gone, replaced by bumbling loyalists.

Strap in...

Thanks for making the current idiocy somehow hilarious. I needed a good laugh, and your ever-adept turn of phrase(s) provided many laughs even though what our madman-turned-President has “accomplished “ remains tragic to the core.

I'm going outside to move some dirt and plants around. My form of spring cleaning. News is dreadful, but thanks to Mary I do know better what's going on. Meanwhile, FBI has asked Penn for list of Jewish students and faculty -- reasons stated and actual don't seem to line up. Shocked!

If you're beginning to think that this foray into Iran is going to be a little more difficult than promised, especially since the current regime was so unpopular, all you need to know how this possibly might end has already happened in our very own Civil War. While some would say the Civil war was about slavery; or states rights; or about succession from the Union. Lots of choices there.

But, if you asked a Southerner fighting in the war (most Southerners were too poor and to own slaves), he would say simply, I am fighting because you are HERE.
