Excellent briefing.

This is definitely an inflection point in our nations history. Trump is, at times, disloyal to the constitution. While we may argue over the legality of his orders, I don’t need a lawyer making spurious arguments to convince me that some of his orders are unconscionable and unconstitutional.

I will be sending this statement to my elected representatives in hopes of stirring their souls to statesmanship.

Spot on!! Congress is our vocal representation, elected to serve us, and defend our constitutional democracy.

Donald Trump has been a predictable consolidation of the far-right grievances and frustration with the erosion of their unearned privilege. Trump's current fever dream has been aided and abetted by the GOP dominated Congress and Senate along with a wildy activist SCOTUS. The resulting consequences have enabled a flurry of pseudologia fantastica proclamations and actions, all without merit/truth, destructive, and betraying the American People.

Trump's escalating lawlessness and corruption is now totally untenable. The crises are real and present.

Last year, when TACO became a well-known acronym, I suggested TASE: Trump Always Stiffs Everyone. Never caught on, of course, but it’s still accurate.

I believe every word Mary says in this piece. I'm sending it to some politicians and many friends. Thank you, Mary.

"a few brave members of Congress can stop this spiral, stop the bullying, the annexation fantasies, the trade wars, the abandoned allies, the burning planet, or they can sit on their hands while one addle-brained old man drags America and the world toward catastrophe." True. I'm not holding my breath. Nobody with a functioning brain could have been unaware of how catastrophic cabinet appointments like Hegseth, Kennedy, Noem, & Gabbard were going to be, but they were confirmed anyway and the only House oversight appears to be focused on the Clintons.

Post-Congress lobbying gigs? Really? They had better re-think that option.

Corporations are probably the only sector that can read tea leaves as well, or if not, better than politicians. The whole world is beginning to burn and nations are martialing their resources to stop the suffering, except for the U.S.

If there's ever been a sliver of hope for a silver lining out there, it will be on the side of history and on those who dared to say, enough is enough...

Thank you, MG, for citing what this vile regime is doing to Colorado. Tina Peters was convicted of nine felonies including an election security breach. Trump wants to pardon her, and since, so far, Governor Polis has resisted, he punishes our beautiful state. Vengeance is his MO. Polis must resist, backed by we, the people of Colorado.

Gov Polis says he will follow the decision of the Appeals Court. She's trying to claim her priviledge to commit crimes and go free 🤷‍♀️ The iDJT is also retaliating because Boebert stood by her discharge vote on the trump/epstein files. Like MTG, he turned on her.

Thank you for this exhaustive recounting of all the travesties we’re living through. It should be a clarion call to action.
