How is it the New York Times and other legacy media, which focused relentlessly on the subject of President Biden’s decline despite daily evidence President Biden remained tethered to reality and capable of good judgment, are ignoring or whitewashing the dangerous delusions of the current president? They are delusions, and they are dangerous.

Lawyers with principles, and there are some, need to shame Bondi publicly and call for her disbarment. In Bondi world, the rule of evidence-based law is an enemy she must vanquish to serve Dear Leader.

So as a Canadian reading this from relative safety what puzzles me about the United States at the moment is the apparent lack of organized protests against what is happening with your government(s). I read many, many pieces like this from across your country, none of which seem to be stirring readers into the streets. Why?

There are protests happening all over, all the time. Banners on freeway overpasses. Citizens gathering at courthouses and intersections (like the Wednesday and Sunday protests in my small town) and being cheered by passing motorists. Protesters gathering at town halls and other public venues. But if you're not seeing it on mainstream media, it's easy to assume it's not happening.

Hi Kristi, well I’m certainly not seeing that on Canadian media, but neither of the two American sources I follow seem to provide much coverage either. That’s such a shame. The evidence of opposition needs to get broader coverage to energize others.

A small business in the next town over is on a second floor with perhaps twenty windows turning a corner at a busy intersection. Their windows have been covered with large white paper with protest for eight months now. They change over time but I photographed them first on January 17th: Looking like old time ads in a grocery store window: Anxiety $1.79: Crying Shame $2.39; Turpitude $1.59; Deja Vu 59 cents; Insomnia Free with Purchase of Stress. Over time, they have become more pointed, and I have not photographed them as much as appreciated them, as many hundreds or thousands of other drivers have. Last week one the signs read "Your taxes pay for a masked goon squad." My car has a little tattered Harris Walz bumper sticker which any other time I would have removed but I want people to see it. We are speaking out in many ways, many small corner protests make those driving by and honking feel better, feel they're not alone. These are legitimate protests and when we are called and know bodies are needed, we go. Just see what happens in September.

“The truth is, foreign adversaries don’t need to invade, “ — that’s true. But now would be the perfect time to do so; Trump’s stupidity has made us extremely vulnerable.

You nailed it again,Mary. It feels like those old newsreels from pre Putin Russia days where the decaying leaders were seemingly propped up on handcarts and wheeled onto the Kremlin balcony to wave at the tanks passing by…except Trump is slumped at his desk ,drainage ports poorly disguised by file folders ,aided and abetted by a Fox News wannabe warrior and a generic acid tongued blonde with a passing acquaintance with jurisprudence.I can safely say we are getting more nervous by the day in Canada.
