MAGATs think this is going to lower their tax burden. 😂. Once it’s all destroyed, maybe they’ll realize their taxes stay the same. Only the billionaires profit. And it will take decades, maybe lifetimes, to fix this mess. Taxation without representation is expanding exponentially. I can only hope California stands up and refuses to pay taxes to Washington, cent by cent, of what they’re depriving us of.
In my years as a Fisheries Scientist I learned first hand the importance of the work done through NOAA. The slashing of this agency is likely one of the most outrageous and egregious acts by the administration. Science and Math are cornerstones of an enlightened and civilized society. At their most fundamental levels, each allows us to make predictions that save lives. Coming from an administration that does not value life, this is all very predictable. Its predictability does not negate the insanity of it.
