RE: Direction to members of the White House Press Corps

My Dear and Respected Journalists:

When Donald Trump fails to address a question you’ve posed and instead refers to it (or you) with an insult or a put down, you must interrupt him with something like the following:

“WAIT A MINUTE DON. I DON’T CARE WHO THE HELL YOU THINK YOU ARE, BUT NO ONE GETS TO INSULT ME OR ANY OF MY COLLEAGUES SIMPLY BECAUSE ONE OF US ASKED A QUESTION YOU DON’T HAVE AN ANSWER FOR.

“FURTHERMORE, IF YOU ARE CONCERNED THAT I DIDN’T ADDRESS YOU AS ‘MR. PRESIDENT,’ UNDERSTAND THAT I WILL OFFER THAT RESPECTFUL PRESIDENTIAL ADDRESS TO YOU WHEN YOU REFRAIN FROM EVASIVE AND DEMEANING NAME-CALLING AND CHOOSE TO BEHAVE LIKE AN INDIVIDUAL DESERVING OF SUCH RESPECT.”

If you stand up to Donald Trump, he will stand down (and probably fawn all over you). Just ask President Xi.

Regards,

Or, as Jeff Teidrich advises reporters to simply ask "What the fuck is wrong with you??"

Journalists die in the line of duty.

They die as "collateral damage" while covering international conflicts.

They are killed when their reporting angers someone.

They are shot by stalkers who disagree with their views.

They might even die at a correspondents' dinner.

What they don't need is an American president drawing a target on their backs.

How dare Trump incite some nutjob to go after these so-called "enemies"?

One of the Substack journalists I follow IS on the list. I foolishly thought Substack was pretty much below the White House radar.

Apparently not.

Nobody needs that kind of fame.

Shame the slush fund is dead….or ‘as good as dead’…..every journalist on that list would have a claim. Because if putting journalists on a public hit list sanctioned by the federal government isn’t weaponizing that government against said journalist then I must be living on earth 2.0.

In absence of that those journalists could launch 10 billion dollar lawsuits against that government for ‘damaging their brand’.

But no….i guess the tables don’t turn that way.🤬

I was at a dinner party last night and one of the people asked if any of us had ever heard trump speak badly of Bernie Sanders. No one had. I love Bernie!! And normally trump hates the people I love. So why has Bernie escaped trump's crazy and stupid ranting?

There appears to be little in the way of sane moments in our lives today. I find myself responding to the inane diatribes of strangers in the California Governor's race where my hope is running high in the ballot count for Tom Steyer while keeping abreast of all the unsubstantiated writings about Graham Platner, reading about the forging of our military and that of Israel's, and the increased minute by minute futility I feel about the continued sanctioning of trump and his administration. It's enough to turn a girl's hair white, mine did, but maybe long before all of the aforementioned. Your daily reminders help me to keep track of my outrage at the system. Our voices and memories must remain loud and constant to handle the struggle we face politically. Thanks, Mary! Enjoy that walk with Mars.

Well , you’re never going to make it to the coveted Offenders List using multi syllables like Kakistocracy and malfunctioning leaf blower. He’s a dancer!
