Your wrap-up of events on this Sunday morning leaves me loving your words that spell out the inadequacies of those who follow trump as well as those sent to do the work so ill conceived by this administration. The sandbox is so dirty with all these loonies trying to act and sound important. Shakespeare's line from Macbeth captures these fool's errand's best, "a tale, told by an idiot, full of sound and fury and signifying nothing." They're all guilty!

As the SNL news said .... Trump says Iran has no cards. Iran says, beg pardon , we have a strait.

Trump Devotion Syndrome (TDS): staying devoted to the toxic narcissistic sociopath Trump long after he has exposed his true colors.

TDS is disease of pride. TDS can be eradicated; Love is all you need, especially humanity.

You nailed it!! "Devotional" demarcates that precarious line crossed into the irrational and cult-like.

Trumpland it truly turning into the theater of the absurd. Using "Etch-a-sketch" arguments to simply erase reality to conform with his impulse du-jour imprimatur, the arrogant stupidity of Trump and his minions has been laid naked and moronic.

The Iran Islamic Republic now has their palm firmly planted on Trump's forehead. As Trump thrashes wildly, he is unable to land a punch. It appears they have Trump in checkmate.

Trump, lost in his imaginary world of power and prestige, is actively leading us in a "circling the drain" reality as his making America great again is actually burning down the house. The Trump Devotional Syndrome cult now is drinking a cyanide laced Kool-Aid in an apparent murder-suicide pact with America. Although the blue wave in the midterms feels like a forgone conclusion, we have to survive until then and hope the ongoing damage can be contained.

Ever since I read that Trump bankrupted two casinos, I have been scratching my head saying how is that possible? Well, here it is, all laid bare for everyone to see how the “genius” operates. The incompetent buffoonery is sought out by this regime to undermine all that is sacred to this country. The demolition has been slow, brick by brick, with an end point at total destruction. And the worst part is that the people on the right side of the isle sit back and cheer all this on, all for what?

"The Times noted the obvious point that a blockade is widely considered an act of war, which means the administration’s sequence here was: fail at diplomacy..."

This blockade is not getting enough attention. This is a classic High Risk / Higher Risk situation

Best case:

We call Iran’s bluff, take control of the Strait of Hormuz with severe causalities, force them back to the table, and reopen global oil flow— but still suffer years of recovery and instability

Worst case:

We turn the strait into a live-fire arena, crash the global economy --which by the way includes US--piss off what's left of our allies who are forced to escalate this war into a total and complete shitstorm

The munitions strain thoughts in this morning’s piece lead me to wonder whether those tasked with firing said munitions, given the replacement of the experienced service people trained in strategic thinking, are the armed services equivalent of the Trumpworld cabinet/special envoy moguls like Kushner et al. To be clear—not a fan of this debacle more a sense that it’s rather like watching wild video game players than professional soldiers.

Trump Devotional Syndrome - brilliant! A condition of delusion in the face of reality that likely applies in other relationships and situations; a disorder that requires substituting absolute loyalty to one man for evidence and reason, with an answer for any challenge to that loyalty; a dangerous condition for its impact on the world.

Sadly, our feckless “group project” morons demonstrate their lack of knowledge on a daily basis. This country will be paying the wages of their incompetence for years.

Excellent nail hitter!

The pattern has been so completely been held in-your-face: the elites, the clicks, the classes, which side of the RR track you lived, the literal millions of forgotten contributors to the advancement of ‘man’ ( ie women, blacks, janitorial crews, the ‘poor’, farm hands ) or ‘the white collar crime’ syndicate.

Without a doubt a lot of change is needed, if only acknowledging ‘this mess’… we really need to adhere to the principles -not just give it lip service.

Absolutely brilliant — “Trump Devotional Syndrome” it appears many in that camp are loosing their “devotional appetite”..

“I don’t know about you, but I am sick of this s‑‑‑! I’m just — I’m sick of it. Can’t he just behave like a normal human? I mean, honestly, like the president — ‘3D chess’ — just shut up,” Megyn Kelly said on her weekly podcast, “F‑‑‑ing shut up about that s‑‑‑! You don’t threaten to wipe out an entire civilization. We’re talking about civilians, just casually in a social media post,” she added.

Barak Obama sent to Iran for two years seasoned diplomats and nuclear scientists to negotiate the Iranian deal. He rips up that deal, unleashes a war then sends in a few real estate bros. and JD and thinks he’s going to get a deal in 48 hours.. along with all the other “devotional” scatterbrained clowns, thinking this was going to become close to reality…. Who could ever have seen that coming..

Feels like Tisza’s leader Péter Magyar is increasingly confident about the result of the vote. He has just posted a very brief but telling message on his Facebook at 3:00pm EST

“Thank you Hungary!”
