I spent over half my life in the SF Bay Area where the Super Bowl is taking place. I considered going to visit my mother for her birthday which was a few days ago but with crowds coming for the Super Bowl I knew it would be crazy and extra super expensive too. The area is very diverse with immigrants from all over the world and if ICE shows up it would be horrific. Over half my mom’s neighborhood is non white and everyone I met is sweet.
MY EARNEST HOPE IS THAT SOMEONE DESIGNS A TEN FOOT TALL SIGN REPRESENTING THE UGLIEST FEATURES OF TRUMP, MOUTH OPEN WIDE, HAIR FLOWING IN THE WIND, PAINTS IT GOLDEN LIKE THE STATUES HE WANTS AND BUYS A SEAT FOR IT WHERE THE JUMBOTRON CAN FLASH TO IT EVERY HALF HOUR, WHAT FUN, IT WOULD MAKE EVEN ME WATCH THE GAME
I see some red flags. Noem says there will be federal officers there. Then it’s denied. Then Trump isn’t going. I think the National Guard should be on call. The first thing I thought when I heard he wasn’t going is he doesn’t want to be booed.
