The descriptions I’ve been reading re: the Presidential Walk point out the absurdity of the regime’s approach to just about every piece of propaganda they publish. I just can’t wrap my head around the why and how the MAGA belief process. It’s as though common sense was checked at the voting booth. The text of the plaques reminds me of a “mean girl” that wasn’t chosen for the sorority! Thanks again for truth

Sure, USA Today finally opened their eyes and got honest, but haven't you been doing that - reporting the decline of both the president and the country for the past year? Where was USA Today when ICE was terrorizing people? Where was the Gannet newspaper when Patel and Bondi refused to do their jobs without an okay from he president and then did his bidding? Where was our daily hotel newspaper when the country was marching against tyranny, writing about despotism and warning about the collapse of democracy? Sure an article using a forbidden word like "crazed" is welcome but dude, they are preaching to the choir who are singing with full throats.
The Independent and even USA Today called it before CNN, NBC, and other national media found their gonads. Pretty much sums it up.
As for Trump adding his name to the beloved Kennedy Center: first item of business on the next "real" president's agenda is remove all reference to Trump on all federal monuments, agencies, bills, and anything artistic and cultural.

I doubt the oligarchs, the Hertage traitors, the Bondis, Noems, Nutlicks, etc. Will have to worry about legitimate jobs or even federal charges. Their thievery has enabled them to stash vast fortune's in untouchable accounts.

He’s spent the year firing government workers, destroying institutions and alienating allies and trading partners. Then he angrily blamed his predecessor and the public. His family gets crypto in their stockings this Christmas, we get tariffs in assorted sizes.

I have some: he will begin quite soon to replace his cabinet with new members who will have to think of even more creative ways to destroy the thing they are in charge of (education, environment, health, etc.). Then Twump will fall off the stage. Then the midterms will put Dems in power (will they impeach or just run endless hearings?) Then, Vance, muchly disliked will lose in 2028. Or...
What is happening here is a perfect example of why I feel that religious thinking is dangerous for mankind. We have a man who thinks he is a god of sorts, which is bad enough, but not uncommon. But we also have a significant number of people and institutions who still back him despite the evidence that he is dangerous. This is religious thinking... allowing gods, both imaginary and real to stop us from acting on evidence and reason.
It's at this point that the systems around Trump, particularly Vance, Hegseth, and Miller, become most dangerous. They must consolidate their power before Trump is removed (either politically or in a body bag).
After his death, Germany removed all monuments to Hitler and removed his name from any buildings where it appeared. Just saying…
