Thanks Mary for putting into words the irony and embarrassment of having our supreme leader allowed to leave his sandbox. You help shine the light on the fact that we survived this before and we will do it again.
Oh, Mary, that was brilliant! Our Mad King Donald the 1st is as mad as a hatter, and you don't need to be a retired psychiatrist to see him for who he really is: a madman. Thank you and keep doing this work! You/we are not alone! Have a blessed day/evening!
You caught it well Mary, and I can only offer my comment. It seems we have the madness of “king Donald” as our world face. No doubt the Europeans, Japanese, and Chinese have broken the code: Give Trump political talking points. The substance is a different matter. There are no binding treaties since Congress remains the final word. Any Memorandums of Agreement or Understanding have less weight. Frankly given Trump’s disdain of his USMCA trade deal from his first term, there is no trust. His tariffs are a tapestry of ideas, trope, and grievance; not a strategy. His meandering comments on eagles to nuclear power are just f’g nuts.

Great piece on Turnberry but you missed one of the most tone-deaf statements ever...
