While investor-owned utilities control 62% of the electric customers in Oregon, public utilities serve nearly 80% of the land area, most of it in the wildland interface and worse. Yet we do it safer and cheaper. You have two fine public utilities flanking you on the coast. Sorry about the provider in Coos Bay/North Bend.
