A complex & thorough analysis. How are we to get this underway given the Trump-MAGA aim of fighting every effort to resolve the problem?

BTW, the article can’t be restacked. It ends up with an error message saying can’t locate the server. I don’t know what that means. The most direct is www.24.gov.ua.

I’ve run into this before. Could it be censorship?

I’ll never forget the red sky and ash from the Santiam Canyon fire.

You have a tendency to discuss a topic without explaining what you’re talking about. This is a good example. I had to read several paragraphs to figure out what happened. It would help if you could start your articles with a sentence or two setting the scene. Love your articles, keep up the good work.

You miss quite a bit of the total story by ignoring publicly-owned electric utilities in the state, Shanley. While investor-owned utilities control 62% of the electric customers in Oregon, public utilities serve nearly 80% of the land area, most of it in the wildland interface and worse. Yet we do it safer and cheaper. You have two fine public utilities flanking you on the coast. Sorry about the provider in Coos Bay/North Bend.

All good points, but that is not how the real world works.
