Bingo. There are simple, obvious solutions to some problems. And before anyone says one single word about how much it would cost, remember the war that was started for no legitimate reason & could have paid for these solutions 10 times over. 🤬

Your sharing glimpses of your life is brave and heartwarming. Your perspective is so healthy. And characterizing this chapter as “Department of Missed Opportunities “ sums up the current situation perfectly. Thanks for your writing.

Thank you for your bighearted glimpses into your never-a-dull-moment family life, Shanley! Your articles are so rejuvenating to read. And definitely, this regime could take your commonsense words to heart.

I had to google cabinet stairs. Looking forward to reading the next installment, and the one after that, and the one after that ...

Hurrah to whoever chose cabinet stairs. Lots of tiny homes have them. I think we have people with the wrong skill set running the government!

Shanley,

Thank you for inviting us into your world again. I needed to Google cabinet stairs as well, and they look like a great idea.

If only your pragmatic and common sense approach to life and its myriad problems could somehow be transmitted to government!
