Lucky you for having thriving tomatoes in Coos Bay! Here in Bend, ours got eaten twice by deer even though they’re fenced in, then just as they were starting to produce we had a 26 degree night and they’re gone. Of course we’re at 3400 feet and you’re at zero, but still😀.
Shanley! Did the doctor communicate with a Burn Center about your finger? Of COURSE you have a third-degree burn with resulting nerve damage; I can diagnose that from here in Germany! It needs proper care and treatment so you don't lose function. It needs to not get infected. It needs (ideally) to be seen by an O.T. with burn experience, and ideally a Wound Care specialist. Oh, I am sorry to sound so strident and bossy, but as a Burn R.N. (retired) I'm so concerned about you!
And yes! Aren't those oil pastels amazing? Like a whole other new world opening up for you!
