2/28/26 - US and Israel launched Operation Epic Fury on Iran.
3/5/26 - They’re calling, asking how do we make a deal.
3/15/26 - I don’t even know that we want to make a deal. But they want to make a deal badly.
3/27/26 - They’re negotiating. They’re begging to make a deal.
3/29/26 - I do see a deal with Iran. It could be very soon.
3/31/26 - It’s possible we’ll have a deal, because they want to make a deal. They want to make a deal more than I want to make a deal.
4/16/26 - We’re very close to making a deal. That would be a great thing.
4/17/26 - We’ll be knowing very shortly. I expect things to go well. Many of these things have been negotiated and agreed to.
5/6/26 - They want to make a deal. We’ve had very good talks over the last 24 hours, and it’s very possible we’ll make a deal.
5/7/26 - Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. And, they’ve agreed to that, among other things.
5/19/26 - They’re begging to make a deal.
5/20/26 - They want to make a deal so badly.
5/22/26 - Iran is dying to make a deal.
5/27/26 - Iran is very intent, they want very much to make a deal.
5/29/26 - A “memorandum of understanding” has the concept of being approved. This would extend the concept of an agreement for at least 60 days.
5/30/26 - The one guarantee I have to have, is that there’ll be no nuclear weapons. And they’ve agreed to that.
6/1/26 - Iran really wants to make a deal and it will be a good one for the U.S.A.
6/1/26 - I don't care if they're over, honestly. I really don't care. I couldn't care less. If they're over, they're over ... frankly, I thought they started to get very boring. (Peace talks)
6/2/26 - I told Iran, it’s time, one way or another, for you to make a Deal. You've been doing this war for 47 years, and it cannot be allowed to go on any longer!
6/4/26 - They (hezbollah) called us and said, how about stopping. And I think you’re going to see things happen.
6/8/26 - We’re negotiating now, and they want to make a very good deal. They’re willing to give us everything. They’re willing to give us no nuclear weapons. You’re really gonna win it over the next two weeks, when we declare total victory. It’ll be total victory. It’ll happen very soon.
6/11/26 - Based on the fact that discussions with the Islamic Republic of Iran have been brought to the highest level of Iranian leadership and approved, I have, as President of the United States of America, cancelled the scheduled strikes and bombings against Iran this evening. Discussions and final points have been, in both concept and great detail, approved by all parties involved.
6/11/26 - They’ve taken a pounding. They want to make a deal a lot more than I do.
6/14/26 - A deal will be signed in the next few hours.
6/17/26 - The Deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete. Congratulations to all! I hereby fully authorize the toll free opening of the Strait of Hormuz.
7/8/26 - They called a little while ago. They want to make a deal so badly, I just don't know if they're worthy of making a deal.
7/10/26 - The Islamic Republic of Iran has asked us to continue talks. We have agreed to do so, but the United States has stated to them, in no uncertain terms, that the Cease Fire is OVER!
7/24/26 - We are talking to them. I think they're being serious. I think ... they are being by far the most serious that we've seen them, but that doesn't mean we get there. We'll see what happens.
7/27/26 - There are very friendly negotiations going on. I think there's a good chance that something could happen.
8/1/26 - We have just been asked by Iran, and other Middle Eastern Countries, to hold off any attack in that the perimeters of a deal has been agreed to.”
Stopped documenting over a month ago from the Liar-in-Chief…
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent intervened in the bond market by doubling government debt buybacks to push down long-term bond yields, which directly influence consumer and business loan rates. Bond yields (such as the 10-year and 30-year Treasury rates) serve as the benchmark for broader borrowing costs. When bond yields rise, interest rates for mortgages, auto loans, and corporate credit typically go up.
When yields fall, borrowing becomes cheaper. Amid a global bond sell-off that pushed long-term yields to multi-year highs, Bessent expanded the Treasury's buyback program for long-term debt from $2 billion to $4 billion per operation. By buying back its own long-term bonds, the Treasury aimed to artificially reduce the supply, lower the interest the government pays, and force high market interest rates down to ease the pressure on consumer and business loans.
While the announcement temporarily caused yields to drop and eased immediate borrowing pressures, financial experts note that the market's fundamental pressures—driven by heavy national debt, inflation, and geopolitical conflict—have kept yields volatile. Critics, including prominent investors like Stanley Druckenmiller, warn that trying to suppress yields against market fundamentals risks backfiring.
A few days ago witnessed the blood moon at the end of August. Already into September, in only about twenty days the autumnal equinox will occur. The Northern Hemisphere loses daylight at its fastest daily rate of the entire year. Depending on your latitude, you can lose up to 2 to 3 minutes of sunlight every single day during this month. May we all embrace the seasons changes, and always find ways to create storage where storage is needed.
I understand completely. I lost everything, machine shop, wood shop design studio and a TuffShed full of racks and cabibets of raw material and fittings, hardware etc. in the Altadena firestorm.
I'm not sure where you are in Oregon ,(my brother, sis in-law and niece and nephew are in Beaverton) and as much as I hate Home Despot, they have seriously good deals on TuffSheds. Fast and done with. Yikes, Just looked at HD website. Prices have doubled since I got mine.
There are lots of small cheap ones good enough to just protect lawnmower and garden tools.
If you start a Go-Fund-Me for a Tuff shed, I will contribute so you can keep writing and not worry about your storage! ;)
I'll contribute too. :-)
Beautiful piece.
