On August 26 I paid 4.39 for a gallon of gas. I noticed over the weekend that it was 4.19 per gallon but I didn't have time to stop so I waited until this morning when it was 4.59 per gallon. Yeah. Thanks Donald.
Someone on Nextdoor claimed that gas was three dollars a gallon in the rest of the country. It was too early to bother with this kind of nonsense with no cite of course. I have no doubt it was someone buying the Kool Aid coming of the WH.
Here in the UK when I filled up this morning. regular petrol is £7.72 per UK gallon (4.546 ltrs). It does not seem long ago that we were seeing around£5.00 per gallon, and thought that was high. Didn't imagine that I would soon be nostalgic for those days.
