Having spent my last 19 years of employment, in and out of courtrooms, my main reaction is how embarrassing this must be for Halligan. I would want to climb under the covers and never resurface. We will see how soon she reappears. Glad to see there is a clear eyed judge. Thanks Mary.

she's been working for Trump for years. Clearly shame is not one of her strong suits.

why have we all forgotten about Comey killing clinton, with his ludicrous email interference that gave trump the presidency?

Not forgotten. Comey did make a difference to the outcome. Many were so sure HRC was going to win, they did stupid and awful and consequential things. Comey took the title away from Ralph Nader for bad behavior impacting an election.

Great recap. I always look forward to reading each article you write. You break things down so they are easier to understand. Thank you for the time and effort you put in to make that happen.

Judge Currie essentially reset the clock on the Comey case when she dismissed the indictment on the procedural error of it having been obtained by an illegal prosecutor and did so “without prejudice.” Thus, the statute of limitations is extended and the Government now has six months to attempt to remedy the procedural error by legally seating a new prosecutor who can retry the case. In any event, the more pressing question is whether or not it is legal to bring prosecutions against individuals simply because Trump doesn't like them. This Must All Stop.

She was a puppet, a stooge. Not astute enough to run the scam. She'll never be able to walk into a courtroom again and be respected.

She needs to be disbarred for gross negligence in taking on work for which she had no qualifications.

Kakistocracy-Kleptocracy with a dash of what he wants, Despotism. It’s nice to see the lower court federal judges standing up against the onslaught of what he and this regime have been tossing hourly. Never a doubt that this felonious DOJ wouldn’t appeal the judge to see if it can get up to SCOTUS. Will take the win today for Comey, James and the rule of law. How do you take down a tree one strike at a time..
