M.E. A few of them may wake up when they see how the regime is hurting them. However, too many would rather own the libs. For the record, I am seeing less Trump signs in the rural area around Salem. Most do not have a clue. I once took on an ex-high school classmate (Indiana) who posted something from a "Christian" warrior who blamed wildfires on atheism. This was just after the terrible 2020 Fires in our area. i informed her that most of the people living up the canyon were Rs and many belong to fundamentalist churches....in other words, just like her. Then she claimed she posted it to show people the kinds of things they should not post. I marked that as BS.
Federal funds are not the administration’s personal funds to be parsed out via personal or political grudges,decisions or desires. Emergency assistance programs should be funded in an emergency (a conflagration, especially ones burning down homes and displacing residents, in any state should qualify as an emergency) per agreed upon non political regulations regarding the usage of these funds.
This regime has no interest in "carefully protecting the roads, hospitals, electrical systems, farms, firefighting districts and emergency services on which everyone depends." It makes me sick to see what they are spending our tax dollars on instead. We're dealing with the same thing in Colorado, relief was refused for 2 major fires last year. Both in rural red counties where ratepayers are stuck with the repairs to the grid.
He has no problem committing war crimes in Iran and he has no problem committing domestic crimes in America. He has no moral conscience whatsoever. His criminal administration will have no moral problem when they flee to South America. If that should happen one can hope they will be picked up and deported but sent to South American “detention centers” first.
long and short... trump and his corrupt government should not be able to decide who gets federal money based on how they voted.. period... end of sentence.. full stop. frankly there are lots of trump supporters who are now feeling "the error of their ways". farmers have been screwed by his tariffs, shutting down ag products going to Canada, China, elsewhere. small businesses are going under (and being bought up by mega corps) due to tariffs and the inflation rise, etc. the poor rural communities that were and still are ardent trump supporters are facing loss of medical services, huge increases in the cost of electricity, loss of their communities to mega corporations that now have fewer rules on where they can extract wealth, and of course the cost of gasoline, diesel, home heating oil, etc. which impacts the poorest the most. trump withheld grant money for renewable energy from blue states... they admitted that in court.. no one does a thing. of course states like TX and Iowa continue to employ significant amounts of solar and wind systems (thats right, the ones that dont work, cant work, contribute to cancer, bird deaths, deep state baby-eating billionaires..) TX is the largest producer of renewable energy yet no one brings this up in discussions on how wind generators dont work... guess gravity is different in TX. trump is doing what the hell he wants to do to whomever he wants to, whenever he wants to and is taking money from criminals, foreign entities, large corporations, and the republicans in office do not blink an eye and most of those who voted for him do not blink an eye... hard to feel sorry for them
