"unstable emperor of the gasoline aisle" permission to use this phrase now and forever more (Please God don't let it be too much longer)

I love this telling turn of phrase! "The emperor is not playing four-dimensional chess. He is trying to eat the pieces..."

His airport press conference has been on our BBC news channel today. He was trying to explain away all his contradictory madnesses but I am afraid that I just had to turn off the sound and peep up every now and again from reading my iPad to make sure that he hadn't self-imploded. Sadly, he hadn't. I quite literally cannot bear the sight of him.

“He is trying to eat the pieces.”…..the visual that came with that was so hilarious that I almost spit out my coffee!

We in Canada also put him on mute and peep up from our reading material in hopes that they are mopping him up off the walls.

Yes…laugh out loud turn of phrase. But this madness is all on the nation’s credit card. Our kids and their kids are going to have to deal with it!

A bill can become law even without the president’s signature. After, I think, 10 days that Congress is in session, the bill will automatically become law absent presidential action.

Nice to see and hear the truth from a trusted source, thanks.

He's not having us sit in smoke. Heck, he's holding the match that lit us on fire. And the blaze is getting bigger. Can't wait to read the book, "The man who destroyed the world.". If I survive this.

It is so clear that trump wants to disenfranchise multiple voters (especially women) with what SHOULD be dead on arrival SAVE Act.

How long will the mad king remain

on the loose with no prospect of restraint? The cowards and enablers in Congress and the Supreme Court are as contemptible as he is.

Our national debt is now approaching 40 trillion - due overwhelmingly to MAGA and their Republican predecessors. A Republic that serves the people cannot endure such grotesque fiscal irresponsibility.

Meanwhile, five minutes before Trump’s bullish lies this morning on the status of the Iran war, a series of abnormally large market trades were made that yielded huge profits to the beneficiaries. The corruption of Trump’s inner circle is rancid.

Trump is again inciting hate and violence against “Democrats”. The prospect of more chaos, death and destruction seems to energize him. How this is acceptable to those with power to stop the insanity is beyond me.

Exactly what I was thinking. It's all about him making money and nothing else.
