“Trump is traveling to California and Nevada to talk about the economy, which seems brave considering the economy will also be there.”

This made me laugh - thanks!

A combination of a lyrical opening and a hard nosed ending. Well done, I say.

Beautifully written. The love, care and humor that come across as you ably juggle real life are what the world needs on a global scale!

Yes, Trump seems to believe he can will reality into compliance - a successful strategy in much of his life, unfortunately, yet never with the levers of power he has now.

It seems lower courts are the last institutions imposing limits that hold - until they’re appealed or ignored.

How his enablers and operatives think their loyalty will pay off defies the lessons of history. For the rest of humanity, the big question is how much damage will he and his sycophants cause before their reign ends, which it will.

You should relate your MRI story to the people who insist the US has the greatest healthcare system in the world and no one has to wait for anything, unlike Canada.

Brilliantly expressed, yet again, and a pleasure to read. How you manage to juggle all the areas of your and your family's lives, and still to produce these essays, amazes me every time.

I do so hope that reality finally catches up with Trump so that he has nowhere left to hide all his delusions of 'power' and 'success'.
