Good God, America. Here we are watching Ken Burns' American Revolution and the birth of America in its blood guts and glory as the whole thing goes down in flames before us. Ah, the irony. Oh, the madness.
It's a shame that Trump, and probably all of MAGA, won't watch Burns' American Revolution. When I watch it, I keep thinking about how Trump and his clowns are taking our wonderful, carefully built Republic apart. Look at the castration of our military, the lost East Wing, and Stephen Miller and the masks.
I imagine that the idea of arrest will drive away anybody but white ticket fans. Homeland security will be well-oiled, keeping their huge and expensive security forces working. At the rate they are going, over a million people will have been deported by then. What brown, black, Asian or non-English speaking person would show up? They arrested the Koreans building a factory for god's sake. I feel anxiety for the players and their retinue as the only black and brown men and women in the stadium. Unless, that is, Usha is in the skybox.
keep imagining transcripts of his speeches presented to any sane person 20 years ago... no one would have taken it seriously that they were from a president of the US, elected to a second term none the less. he has lost his mental facilities, and they come and go like wisps in the wind. the country is most likely being run by Miller and Vought... he is out there as a puppet, redecorating and going on with some really incredible math... drug price reductions that have drug companies paying us, dividends from tariffs that exceed the tariffs themselves... almost as many people dying from drug overdoses as there are people in the country... how can even his most ardent supporters take this seriously????
