What an all encompassing portrait of a diabolical, deranged, incredibly stupid flex of wasted power and seriously puffed up White Evangelical Christian supremacy with a partner in madness and criminal lust, Netanyahu able to lead djt to the unreal reality that befalls all the rest of us!!! Holy war, holy friggin' shit!!! There are protests this weekend...Get out there and roar! Silence is unforgivable...Innocent people are being slaughtered for cowards with massive egos...STOP THIS WAR!!!!!!!

I don't trust an iota of what comes out of the mouths of this administration. The stories change daily. The intelligence is manipulated. The actors are epically under-qualified. The motives are grift and greed. The President is a walking target for bribery and manipulation. His underlings meet the Pyongyang standard for sycophancy. Somehow there is a patina of normalcy (or absence of "WTF is this?") in the mainstream media. Gulliver needs to wake TF up.

Hurts almost too much to write....I certainly don't condone this slap dash of a war. I know no one that does, but then, our communications seem to have broken down within our society, too. Neighbors don't talk about all subjects...suspicion abounds. Words are weighted to test open dialogue before proceeding. When we don't trust those in charge how can we trust anyone? Even our Supreme Authorities cannot be trusted...no wonder many of us prefer staying home, our only outings for food, not wanting to contribute to the Billionaire class by buying incorrectly. Our protests to relieve anxiety as much as to take comfort in like minded souls as to make the public statement. Thinking primarily of the personal effect on one's self....this new spectacle asks us to step outside ourselves; you have kids? You maybe have grandkids? Lost any lately? Or ready to move? Willingly or because your place is a war zone? Is losing a house worse than losing a child? And for the Kaks among us, Is the money worth it? Me, I'm writing a wish list that a new way of living could give us when we get those we voted in, OUT!!

I think presenting war as entertainment also plays to the younger MAGA population who are less likely to receive a college deferment should a military draft be needed. Many spend enough time gaming that they may feel invincible in the arena of reality, prompting enlistments as well. Dead is dead, in true reality.

Pardon my language but this is all so fucked up I can’t believe it. I don’t know what Trump’s medical diagnosis is but he has clearly lost any impulse control he might have once had. His chest-thumping threats and demands are not sane. And no one is doing anything to stop him!! He has started a regional war, martyred the Ayotollah and unleashed forces he can’t even comprehend. This is utter madness that has potentially dire consequences for all of us and our children, and nothing is done to stop him.

This is problematic for Ukraine too! Russia will benefit from the spike in oil and natural gas prices. This will fund his war machine.

This is an illegal regime change war-of-choice being conducted by a corrupt dictator who is unable or unwilling to explain to the American people why we're in this war, what we're doing or what victory looks like. The idea that congress would give him $50B “emergency” funding to pay for this war would be to take every bit of power and influence that the Congress has and just hand it over to the president.

This is the only, maybe the last, check available to stop this insanity before we all get killed because, as the Commander-in-Chief said himself: “In war, people die. That’s just the way it is”

But never mind that. Get ready for the next distraction—Cuba.

He has never asked permission for anything that makes him feel big whether it is abusing and assaulting girls and women or spreading cruelty and mayhem throughout our world.

As a grandmother of young men of the age as were many Vietnam draftees including my departed brother (whose war left him disabled for the rest of his life), I’ve been trying to stay focused on things other than the “rabbit hole” of ground troops anywhere!

I downloaded a link to the Heritage Foundation’s Plan for our lives to research. Project 2025’s mandate for the Department of Defense plays into Trump’s impulsivity and need to be an established ‘strong man” in that the mandate is to increase the US nuclear arsenal, and, by inference, return to the super power competitions of the 1950s.

As someone old enough to have been trained to when the siren sounded, get under my elementary school desk and cover my head with my arms to be safe from “the bomb,” it’s more than scary.

Whatever happened to the phrase "War is Hell"? As an administration, the current one is failing on all accounts and willing to take the world's safety with it. The blustering of fool's chasing more financial gain is leading the sheep who follow over the cliff. Sadly, they will take us with them unless we stand and strike back with word's and action's blazing!
