And a bunch of regular citizens are about to get bankrupted by the "justice" system because King Fool needs others to blame for his latest destruction.

My fervent hope is that a kindly attorney, devoted to seeing justice done, takes the cases of those arrested for touching the water or just being near the reflecting pool, and sues this regime to high heaven. I think 1.8 billion is a fair ask.

Apologies for asking but honestly did anyone believe that the Reflecting Pool “restoration,” the Iranian negotiations, or ballroom, etc were going to have stable and positive outcomes? Despite MAGA belief to the contrary, I’ve read if no successful positive Trump project outcome other than lining his own and his family’s bank accounts. My practical solution to the Iranian negotiations, Mr President, is to pick up your IPhone and dial one or more of those four former, well-thought of folks that sat on stage in Chicago last Thursday and ask them, please, to save what’s left of this country’s ever dying reputation! Not ever going to happen I know…

Trump's reflecting pool fiasco is the perfect metaphor for the Washington swamp: a no-bid contract, handed to a Mar-a-Lago insider, followed by a predictable algae bloom that anyone who passed elementary school science could have seen coming. Darker surface = warmer water =green slime.

And, honestly, what did they expect from a company called 'Green Water Solutions'?

The reflecting pool debacle has another feature that illuminates the rancid corruption of MAGA rule: by issuing an illegal no-bid contract to an unqualified Trump contractor for far more than the project was projected to cost, the Trump regime effectively transferred tax dollars to a donor’s private account that can now be cycled back as additional donations. Our institutions are failing us.

I enjoy eating and cooking a variety of world cuisines and I don’t think I’ve ever seen soy or corn in a recipe from any country in the Middle East or any restaurant or food cart celebrating that food history. I’m sure the people there will be very excited about buying these new products. 🙄
