We are way past the point where Trump should be placed in a dementia unit. He can rename every lake, gulf, strait, and ocean there while the nurses and aides nod tolerantly. The whole world would heave a sigh of relief once Trump was put to bed every night without access to the unit computers.
Nothing surprises me anymore. I just had a shoulder replacement so I’m taking some medication for pain but I swear I saw an advertisement for AI Jesus. “Just bring your prayers.” I’ve got to say it was creepy as hell.
Many years ago, Dame Ellen McArthur who skippered ‘Maiden’, the all female crewed yacht competing in the Whitbread Round the World, said “The sea is trying to kill you, it never stops”.
All of a sudden, that sounds more encouraging than hitherto.
I’m waiting for the story where he bravely goes headlong into the ocean which has a riptide to save a damsel in a bikini (who’s not in distress) and the lifeguards have to pick him up and pull him to safety. Without the damsel who just paddles away.
Wonderful! Thank you for a good, much-needed laugh.
Maybe add to the dead sea
A lovely witty piece that made me laugh. I read extracts of it to my husband, who really enjoyed it.

Unfortunately the scenario at the end requires that Trump would have to step off the pavement, which he regards as a major hardship.
