Once again, Mary thanks for a succinct, clear overview. I have reached a point where I refuse to listen or watch the lying demagoguery that has become the news.

I don’t watch him.

I don’t listen to him.

I didn’t vote for him…ever.

I will NOT vote for him…ever.

Nor will I watch his trial.

Nor watch their trials.

Imbedded in this twilight zone of a slow motion train wreck, Bob Dylan’s Watchtower rings an eerie resonance:

“There must be some way out of here

Said the joker to the thief

There's too much confusion

I can't get no relief”

Living in a country that pays around $15 a gallon for gasoline (petrol in my country), I find Trump’s determination for a $2 rate insulting, especially when tied to his enthusiasm for “beautiful clean coal”, by which we have been destroying our planet since around the time the USA was founded.

And Washington State is underwater because of the climate change but he still pushes on. New drilling may be a costly experience as one of the major purchasers China is pushing ahead with solar and wind power and reducing their reliability on oil. Who will buy it? Good question as the world prices are dropping even in a climate of uncertainty.

After all that “good news”, let’s see the ghosts from the past. When does the DOJ unwrap the Epstein files?

Thanks for the excellent analysis and conclusions. Too bad the criticisms will fall on deaf ears.

I hold onto the slim hope that having these economic lies shouted repeatedly into our faces will backfire for the simple reason that 99% of us purchase groceries, fuel, electricity, houses, cars, pharmaceuticals, health insurance, and all that other stuff FROM OUR DIMINISHING WALLETS. Our lived experiences are our own best fact checkers.
