Thank you for all of your excellent articles. My husband and I both read them. We are 88 years old and have been through a lot of bad things that have happened in our country. The Trump administration is worse than anything we have lived through. People like you who are taking the time to write what is really happening helps us so much. This country has survived a lot over the years. We are hoping and praying that it can survive what is happening now.
Raining in Ashland this morning. I’m not mad. At least not at the weather. But the orange blob? Well, that could cause me to scream. But instead I’ll fill the bird feeder and enjoy the surge of juncos and jays that will flock to the yard once the sun comes up. As always, your post this morning rings true.
Touche! I too like the option of the States regulating themselves. Local politicians are more vulnerable to the demands of their local communities. Unless you live in UTAH!

I spend the day keeping myself aware of all the happenings in our country, the injustices as well as the advances we are making, but thus far the injustices far outweigh the other. So what is the point…as the world circles above the rot….as peace is remembered for the carrions -something may be left?
Things that comes to mind ..never missed the water till the well runs dry…this too will pass…somewhere between this or that …we grew up.
When do people learn they- is never the answer, and we -carries the load easier but more -is past enough.
It’s choice. Some don’t have choices just ultimatums.
That elusive equality thing again…dictators rule by fear because they always need more. Give me your tired and your poor…because hope is comforting when the cupboard is bare. Yes they depend on our fatigue but the numbers uncover hidden strengths . That more becomes equality with good choices , where even Goliaths can be brought down .
