Excellent. Every point a direct hit.

Hegseth gives new meaning to the word weasel. I am also reminded of the expression-“you can’t crush a cockroach in the sand”

Excellent review.. I watched a very mediocre Fox host desperately trying to hang on to the only job he will ever have and willing to say anything to deflect being held accountable for his glaring incompetence.

Thank you for sharing this, Mary. My takeaway is that he was arrogant and dismissive. He, like the rest of this administration, did not feel like he had to answer the questions or even that he should have to answer the questions. The entire administration does not hold itself accountable to "We, the people," and therefore does not feel obligated to answer to, "We, the people." They operate out of their own little silo and could care less about what we think or want. It has gotten this far because congress failed to do their jobs from the very beginning when there may have been a chance to rein them in. I fear that chance has passed.

Any day now, I expect Hegseth to start babbling about precious bodily fluids

He forgot to borrow Bondi's gotcha book. Seriously, this man is contemptable. I noted the GOP/MAGA lemmings praising him and I wished I could fire them on the spot. We are talking about war here, not some minor bureaucratic issue.
