while lots of press states that trump does not have a plan, i think he has a page from Netanyahu's playbook or is following Netanyahu's directives. this was never about nuclear arms, this was never about regime change. just like Netanyahu's war in Gaza was never about getting hostages back. it is about wiping out a country, wiping out a people. Genocide. all the while the world listened to the protestations coming from the Israeli government about what they were "not doing" and right before our eyes, they did it. now the jr trumps are moving in and talking about condominiums. I think Netanyahu has the same plan for Iran and he now has trump's help. trump does not care about deaths, the price of oil, or how long this takes. deaths of American soldiers is just the cost of getting what he wants, which is pleasing Israel and getting at Iranian oil. if the war is protracted into the mid terms, he would probably like that, use it as an excuse for more election tampering or canceling them all together because of a "state of emergency". he is already teeing up another conflict with Cuba. we are now back in the days of the Shah and elsewhere where we want a puppet regime or no regime at all. what comes across as an ill-thought out plan is not the case. the end game is wiping out Iran and profiting from their natural resources. when the world feels too much pressure from the closure of the straits of Hormuz, that will drag the UK, France, and other countries into the fray to provide naval escorts for tankers through the straits. Iran will hit tankers and naval vessels, and things will get even muddier. he does not give a rats behind about the cost of oil, that helps his buddies at the oil companies and falls in line with his cancelation of renewable energy programs and eliminating any chance of EV growth in the US. that is all driven by his big donors in oil and gas. LNP exports get a boost from this conflict, another plus for oil and gas, and another factor that will drive up natural gas prices for Americans. Everyone seems to be writing his reactions to oil prices and casualties as just callous and lack of a plan. i think the plan has been there all along, just not shared

My thoughts exactly.

This was never about regime change, uranium enrichment, nuclear weapon launches or coming to the aid of the beleaguered Iranian people (🙄the least believable justification when we’re talking DJT). It is about genocide. Just as Gaza has been for Netanyahu.

And, in my opinion, DJT’s latest Truth Social regarding hitting groups not previously on the radar is proof of his intentions.

Your analysis of what comes next in terms of international involvement is spot on.

All of this, in combination with the Shield of the Americas and the goal of Western Hemisphere domination, makes for a very scary world.

exactly. coupled with loosening restrictions on Russian oil, it is clear that his real agenda is not what he is stating publicly. his focus on naming buildings after himself, his ballroom also shows that if he survives, he has no intention of leaving office after the 2028 election... it is not if, it is how he will do it. it remains to be seen how much of this the rest of the world will tolerate or how much the citizens of this country will tolerate. we will start to become economically isolated and foreign loans will be pulled, foreign investment will be pulled which is already starting to happen. either he does not care and would be happy to be a rich dictator for a 3rd world nation, or thinks that he can blackmail the rest of the world by tying up the worlds oil supplies. in fact, most of the rest of the world is moving quickly to wean themselves off of oil for transportation, LNP for electricity, etc. so that leverage will become smaller with time. the Russian invasion of Ukraine sparked rapid growth in EU for renewables, this war and trumps behavior will further ignite a flame under that.. we have already lost huge economic opportunities by alienating the rest of the world, more to come

Once again, so on point!

My first observation: because the lunatic is so very amused with slapping his name on buildings and receiving made up/stolen awards, how much of him is cognitively involved in these deadly serious decisions and how much of it is coming from the Project 2025 masterminds Miller and Thiel who then just whisper in the lunatic’s ear that this…whatever maniacal plan is on the table for any given day…is a good idea.

Second observation: you are already losing billions in foreign investment. I’m Canadian. 🇨🇦 I don’t know if you’ve heard but our PM has been making a big splash all over the world. He just finished making deals in India, Australia and Japan.

yes, exactly... i have been saying that despite trumps efforts to bring the world to its knees, they are simply passing us by and learning that there are other trading partners in the world. Your prime minister is a breath of fresh air. i have a bunch of clients in Canada and i start every video conference with a long apology for this country's behavior. i have heard that you have a baby trump and some followers in Alberta, hopefully that is just a bunch of noise and nothing real... sounds like they drank the kool aide

I doubt even Netanyahu is celebrating Trump’s pompous, ignorant bravado and casual indifference to the deaths and suffering of others - actually, it’s worse than indifference: violence clearly titillates Trump.

Certainly, war whisperer MBS of Saudi Arabia and other despots in the region can’t be too happy with the damage this illegal war of aggression is causing to their infrastructure and the rage it’s engendering in the lowly people they rule.

I’m literally nauseated by the buffoonery and arrogance of the incompetent monsters driving this war as if it’s a TV show for their base. I hope pride goeth before a precipitous fall for all of them.

Only in Trumpworld would saying “I won’t shoot you if you don’t shoot me” be seen as unconditional surrender.

I hear the bluster and am reminded that the only " military experience " in his entire life comes via the private " military academy " that his father shipped him off to correct " disciplinary problems " in lieu of attending high school.

He was a narcissist from a very young age. I don’t believe narcissists change. They just learn new ways to control. I

Lived with a narcissist for years.

That word...."loser" has a deep meaning to Trump. It's the worst you can be...a loser. His father told him and his siblings "you are either a King, a Killer or a Loser". His Dad was sick, and so is Donald Trump, the only difference being that Donald has his finger on toys that destroy whole countries. This is NOT going to get any better. It's going to take our country YEARS to clean up the mess DJT has made of our country, our economy and the world.

Sen Collins ( R -Maine) voted AGAINST congress controlling war decisions. She voted to give Trump & Hegseth UNLIMITED POWER.

She takes ZERO responsibility allowing the ignorant, uninformed Republican President full freedom to kill and spend ONE BILLION $ a day of taxpayer money on his angry whims.
