Being a leader is more complicated with more subjects. If all the lines stay straight …well…no tangles. “It’s complicated …”is not an excuse.
We long passed that simplicity, even having start overs after ‘things/lines” got straightened out , meant equity truths upheld…that.didn’t.happen.

What a mess this whole geopolitical system is. Rather than more testosterone per Hegseth, I think everyone needs more seratonin, oxytocin, dopamine and endorphins.
My city has municipal election in October ... mayor and city council We have a 35+ year encumbant mayor whose in his 70's and is foolish enuf to think we ought to elect him again after he's done nothing for our city in decades yet he's been basically unchallenged. He's all in for fossil fuels, pipelines and data centers and our downtown is full of unhomed folks and seriously drug addicted humans. We also have a mayoral candidate who's a trump wannabe who even got red hats printed with MSGA (Make Sarnia Great Again). He's a retired real estate agent ... boorish fool with a foul mouth and unfortunately he's got a following in our conservative blue collar city ... they seem to enjoy the shock value he brings (that's the only value he brings!) Plus we have some younger but well educated and well experienced talent who I believe would make the future much rosier and I will excitedly vote for. I want one of our councillors to come back to council because she's level-headed and we do need one person who understands the rules and work process. I will vote for new people to sit in the other 7 chairs. It's the highest profile election we've had in the 40 years I've lived and voted here. But this time it's awfully similar to the bigger elections ... just on a much smaller scale. And it's not predictable. So I have that all in play daily too. I'm so tired of a future that feels uncertain and people who are stupid liars and all the drama and damage that we're enduring. I'm extremely grateful for Prime Minister Mark Carney ... every single day I thank our lucky stars that he's leading Canada! This afternoon I'm going to go on Facebook and watch kittens and puppies for a break.
Local politics absolutely matter. Here in Bandon we have an important mayoral race. Much of our city government has been corrupted by the incumbent and change is definitely in desperate need.
