Come Meet Ezra, Let us Say Thank You, and Ask Mary Anything

There are some things that are hard to put into words, and the kindness you have shown our family is one of them. Over the last week, you have helped make Ezra’s MRI possible, helped us find a real path forward as we try to save our children’s home, and reminded us again and again that hope is not something we always have to carry alone. So we wanted to come say thank you face-to-face.

We’ll be sharing an update on Ezra’s MRI, where things stand with the house, what we are trying to do next, and answering questions as honestly as we can.

And yes, you’ll get to meet Ezra, who remains very smiley, very squishy, and blissfully unaware that he has become the tiny center of a whole community’s concern and care.

Mary will be joining us too, and she will be available for questions about anything: the fundraiser, the house, the newsletter, politics, democracy, the state of the world, hope, outrage, writing, or whatever else you all want to ask her.

Mostly, we just want to spend some time with the people who have shown up for us in such an extraordinary way. You have helped us move from fear into action, you’ve helped us feel less alone, you’ve changed what felt possible for our family.
